In this class, you'll learn garment construction techniques while creating a beautifully finished jacket. We'll cover pattern layout, fabric preparation, construction methods, fitting tips, and professional finishing techniques to help you achieve a polished result.

Skills: This class is recommended for confident beginner to intermediate sewists who are comfortable using a sewing machine and have completed a few sewing projects.

Prerequisites: Students should be comfortable threading and operating a sewing machine, sewing consistent seam allowances, and following a basic sewing pattern.

Sessions:  Three 2-hour sessions

Materials:

• Purchase pattern here. Please come to class with the pattern printed and taped together.
• Non-directional quilted fabric only. Pattern recommends flannel for the interior layer giving the finished cardigan a lighter weight, cooler feel, and a lovely drape that moves with you.
