Nylon parachute cord, also known as paracord, offers a cheap and effective way to close an opening, especially in items made from fabric. It can be found in a multitude of everyday products such as jackets, pants, backpacks, sweatshirts, bags, and several other applications. Our ⅛ inch paracord is made of braided nylon and has a breaking strength of 550lbs (maximum recommended working load of ~183lbs).  PLEASE NOTE: These cords are NOT suitable for use as actual parachute pull cords, and are intended for light-duty applications.
