Because it's a pencil, this Kutsuwa HiLiNE highlighter writes smoothly and will never spread or bleed through to the other side of the paper the way conventional ink highlighters can. It can be used for marking notes, planners, newspapers, receipts, and more. Its wide lead core can be angled to draw thin underlines or thick highlights. You will never need to worry about it drying up or running out of ink unexpectedly, making it great for on-the-go use. A sharpener is conveniently incorporated into the cap.

To sharpen:
Gently insert the pencil straight into the sharpener. Then, twist the pencil lightly and slowly until the pencil is sharpened to a dull point. Making the point too sharp may cause the lead to break.
