Yellow hand block bagru print kota doria cotton fabric comes from the village of Bagru in Rajasthan, where artisans have practiced the mud-resist printing technique for over 400–450 years. The fabric is created by applying a hand-prepared mud resist using carved wooden blocks, followed by dyeing with natural colours. After dyeing, the resist is washed away to reveal distinct patterns. Kota doria is an age-old Indian textile produced in the Kota district of Rajasthan. The fine threads are intricately interwoven to create its characteristic check patterns. Its lightweight and sheer texture give it a grace and elegance of its own. This fabric is suitable for sarees, suits, dupattas, kurtas, dresses and stoles.
