Knitting 102 - Fixing common mistakes
Have you dropped a stitch? Did you knit instead of purl? Do you need to knit back to fix
a mistake? Then this class is for you!
In this 1,5 hour session, we will cover fixing a dropped stitch, changing a knit to a purl
stitch, knitting back or “tinking” and taking your work off your needles and ripping back
(called Frogging).
Skills required: This class is for those comfortable with knitting and purling.
Sessions: One 1,5 hour session
Materials: 50 grams of light colored worsted weight yarn, Size 8 (5mm) needles, size 4
(3.5mm) needles, size E or F Crochet hook
Pre-workshop homework: Cast on 30 stitches and knit about 4 inches of stockinette stitch. Keep stitches on needles and yarn attached.
