Grab some yarn and let's knit! In this fun beginner class, kids will learn the basics of knitting while making their very first scarf. We'll learn how to cast on, master the knit stitch, fix simple mistakes, and bind off—all while creating something cozy to wear or give as a gift.

No knitting experience is needed! We'll take it one stitch at a time, and by the end of class students will have the confidence to keep knitting long after their scarf is finished.

Ages: 8+

Skill Level: Beginner

Homework Alert! Scarves don't grow by themselves! We'll knit together in class, but students will also need to knit at home between sessions. The more they practice, the longer and cozier their scarf will be. If the homework doesn't get done, their scarf might end up more like a stylish neck warmer—and that's okay! They'll still learn an amazing new skill and have lots of fun along the way.
