In this two-hour class you will learn how to begin paper piecing. We will create a simple paper-pieced project that can be quilted and made into a pillow top or wall hanging. We will only be creating the star block and not be quilting in class.

Class length: One 2-hour session

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner to Intermediate. You MUST already be comfortable threading and operating a sewing machine as well as sewing straight lines. You can take this class if you have taken Sewing 101 or have similar experience.

Materials: 

• Fabric scraps for the star, we have scraps in the classroom. If you want a specific color theme, please bring your own scraps. 
• 1/2 yard of background fabric
• Add-a quarter ruler
