Knitting pattern for headband with Josephine knot

The Josephine knot headband is a smart and trendy headband with a beautiful braid on the front, also called a 'Josephine knot'.
The headband is a fun and relatively easy knitting project, and the size can easily be regulated.
It is a soft and warm headband which is worked in our Önling No 2, sustainable 100% merino wool - or from yarn scraps.

Needles: Circular needles nr. 3,5
2 safety pins
2 m of yarn in a contrasting color (temporary), and crochet stocking

Gauge:
24 sts and 30 rows in stockinette stitch on needle no. 3 = 10 x 10 cm
