Knitting pattern for Gitter scarf by Hanne Falkenberg

Lovely and classic scarf with a decorative 3D relief pattern. The scarf measures approx. 175 cm, and can as such reach several times around the neck. A warm and snug scarf that can be used by both him and her. Worked on needle size 5.

You can find 3 different knitting kits for Gitter here at Önling. Knit it in a kit consisting of Önling No 20 in 100% Shetland wool, a kit in Önling No 1, which is a wonderful mix of wool and angora, or in a kit in Önling No 2, which is pure 100% merino wool.

Materials: 
200 gr. Önling No. 1, 75% Merino Superfine Super 100’s Wool and 25% Angora. Approx. 180 m pr. 50 g. Worked with a single strand throughout

or

150 g. Önling No. 2, 175 g Önling No 2, 100% Merino Superfine Super 100’s Wool, 120 m pr. 25 g.  Worked with a single strand throughout

or

300 gr. Önling No 20, 100 % Shetland Wool, 225 m pr. 50 g. Worked with double strand of yarn throughout

Suggested needles: Circular needle size 4 (US6) to 5 (US8), 80 cm long

Gauge:
26 sts in double yarn on 5 mm ndls  = 10 x 10 cm
