The Flowerette Quilt pattern is a block-based design at an Advanced Beginner skill level. It offers 2 sizes - Baby and Throw- although additional blocks may be easily added to increase the size.

It also incorporates curved pieces into each block to create the “flowerette” design in the center of the quilt. Individually piecing curves is time-intensive, so to streamline the process this pattern offers an option to use inset circles to fabricate 4-at-a-time curved pieces. It is an innovative technique to maximize your sewing time. You may hear “curved pieces” and “inset circles” and be tempted to run for the hills, but give it a try!
