Knit your first sock! You’ll learn to cast onto double-pointed needles, work short rows, pick up stitches, and Kitchener stitch. Please come to class proficient in the knit and purl stitches, we’ll teach you the rest!

Prerequisites: You must be able to knit and purl.

Time: Four 2-hour sessions - you will have homework between sessions

Materials to bring to class:

• Cascade 220 Superwash (1 ball for women's size, 2 for men's size) or Sandnes Garn Smart / Double Sunday (2 balls)
• US 6 8-inch double-pointed needles
• One stitch marker, safety pin style
• Yarn needle
• Pattern will be provided in class
