• Class 1: Planning your cowl, casting on, ribbing and 1x1 colorwork
• Class 2: Checking in on progress, binding off and tips for blocking

Skill Level: Adventurous Beginner

• You have some basic knitting skills down (like casting on, binding off, knitting, purling, and maybe even knitting in the round!) and are looking for an introduction to colorwork techniques.

Skills used for this pattern:

• Casting on (long tail cast on or German twisted cast on)
• 1x1 ribbing (knit and purl stitches)
• Knitting in the round
• Knitting with fingering weight yarn
• 1x1 colorwork
• Changing colors 
• Binding off

• Fingering weight yarn in 2-10 colors of your choice: scraps or mini skeins are perfect! Malabrigo torzal works well or any small quantity of different colors.
• 16” circular needles in 3.5 mm and 3.75 mm or whichever needle you can obtain 26 stitches per 4 inch gauge
