Doodle Card Decks are the ultimate way to inspire creative colorwork! Use these flexible mix-and-match chart cards to visually re-arrange and design the perfect colorwork pattern from start to finish. This class will guide through the whole process.

Sessions: Two 2-hour sessions

• Class 1: Planning your cowl, casting on, ribbing and colorwork techniques
• Class 2: Checking in on progress, binding off and tips for blocking

Skill Level:  Adventurous Beginner

• You have some basic knitting skills down (like casting on, binding off, knitting, purling, and maybe even knitting in the round!) and are looking for an introduction to colorwork techniques.

Skills used for this pattern:

• Casting on (long tail cast on)
• knit and purl stitches
• Knitting in the round
• Colorwork - working with 2-3 colors
• Catching floats
• Changing colors 
• Binding off

• Doodle Deck of your choice! On theme for winter: Holiday 3 or Arctic 
• DK weight yarn in your colors of choice (2+ colors). KFO merino held double, or heavy merino works well.
• 16” circular needles in 3.5 mm or whichever needle you can obtain 24 stitches per 4 inch gauge
