HOMESEWN CLASS Crochet 102: Beginner Plus for Adults

Built for Crocheters who are comfortable with the basics (foundation chain, single crochet, turning) and who may have a few simple projects under their belt, this 4 session course takes you through 3 ‘mini’ projects that will teach you new stitches and new skills!
Audience: Adult beginners
Sessions: Four 2-hour sessions
Session 1: Cute Coasters – working in the round (ITR), increasing, half double crochet
Session 2: Granny Square - working ITR, magic circle, clusters & double crochet, color change
Session 3: Tiny Octopus or Jellyfish (amigurumi) – working ITR, increasing/decreasing, shaping
Session 4: Workshopping – finish up any of the course projects or get help with your own project!
Materials: Please bring the following
- at least 100g of worsted or dk (makes a few)
- 4mm or 5mm hook
- between 1 and 4 different colors, dk or worsted, good way to get rid of scrap yarn
- 4mm or 5mm hook
- 300g of bulky
- safety eyes
- 8mm-10mm hook
