I've lived in London since 1995. It's one of the greenest cities in the world. There is a constant buzz of life. Wherever you turn you'll find a tree-lined street, plants bursting from a front garden, or flowers spilling out of a hanging basket outside a pub, forever changing and growing towards the light. There are many little well-maintained parks and squares as well as wilder fields and forests. The air smells of bloom, of dirt and life.
