The All the Things Tote from Knot & Thread is a great carryall bag that can be made in
several sizes. This sturdy bag is made with foam stabilizer for a quilted stylish look. In this confident beginner class, you will learn how to work with foam stabilizer, create and work with exterior bias binding, and how to sew gentle curved corners in a bag.

Some homework is required prior to class.

Audience: Confident beginner adults

Sessions: One 5.5 hour session

Materials:

• All the Things Tote Pattern by Knot & Thread available at homesewn
• 1 yard quilting cotton for exterior
• 1 yd quilting cottong for lining
• ¾ yd quilting cottong accent fabric
  
• 36x42” piece of byAnnies Soft and Stable 
• 1/2 yard of medium weight woven interfacing
•  ¾ yd of 1 ½” wide webbing
  
• Roxanne’s Glue Baste-It (optional but very helpful)
  
• Stiletto
  
• ByAnnies Basting Tape (optional but helpful)
  
  

Before Class:
To ensure we get through the important steps of this project, please follow the directions on page 1 of the pattern before class. This entails seaming your fabric pieces together if you are using directional fabric as well as creating your quilt sandwich of exterior, stabilizer, lining fabric, and quilting your fabric.
