You've pieced your quilt top—now it's time to turn it into a finished quilt! In this final session of the Ultimate Beginner Quilt series, students will learn the essential finishing techniques that bring a quilt from top to completed project.

We'll cover layering the quilt top, batting, and backing; basting methods; basic quilting techniques; trimming and squaring up; and attaching binding for a polished finish. By the end of class, you'll have the skills and confidence to complete your quilt and apply these techniques to future quilting projects.

Prerequisites: Completion of the Ultimate Beginner Quilt class and finished quilt top.

Sessions: Two 2-hour sessions

Materials: quilt backing and batting at least 4" larger than you quilt top. Backing should be pieced, if necessary, and ready to quilt.

Please note: Depending on your quilting pace and project size, you may not complete all finishing steps during class time. Students will leave with the knowledge and guidance needed to finish their quilt at home.
