Introduction to Circular Knitting - My First Hat

Know that you know how to knit and purl, the next step is knitting in the round. So, let's make a hat! In this class, we will be knitting the Her Beanie by Loopy Mango. You will learn to cast onto circular needles, join the stitches to knit in the round, knit in a ribbed pattern and knit and purl stitches together. Once you have learned these skills, knitting cowls, infinity scarfs and more hats are up next!
 
Skill Requirements: Casing on, knit, purl and casting off.

Pattern: Loopy Mango Her Beanie (free with purchase of yarn)

Materials:

• 1 Ball of Loopy Mango Merino #5 (74 yards 68 m, 5.3 oz 150 g), 100% Merino Wool
• Needles: US 15, 10 mm (16 inch cable)
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch Marker
