Half-Square Triangle Quilted Pillow Class

Join us for a creative and relaxing class where you will learn to make a cool half-square triangle quilted pillow. This class is perfect for both beginners and experienced quilters looking to expand their skills.

Throughout the class, you will be guided through step-by-step techniques needed to create beautiful half-square triangle patterns. You will learn how to accurately measure and cut fabric, sew and press seams, and properly assemble the half-square triangles to achieve a flawless design.

Not only will you leave the class with a finished half-square triangle quilted pillow that you can proudly display, but you will also gain the confidence and knowledge to continue creating more intricate quilting projects on your own.

Skills required: This class is for those comfortable threading a sewing machine and sewing straight seams.  Participation in beginner sewing or comparable experience is required.

Class time: 2 3-hour sessions

Materials:

• Fabric amounts will depend on the design you wish to create. A minimum of 1/4 - 1/2 yards of fabric will be needed.
• 1/4 yard cotton fabric for the background
• 1/2 yard cotton fabric for backing
• 18" square of batting
• 18" square of backing for pillow front (a piece of an old sheet works well)

Quilting gloves are not required but will make your quilting easier.
