Girls Spring Pinafore - Sizes 2-12

Join us as we make a darling high-waisted, circle-skirt pinafore that will pair with any dress - long or short sleeve. The suspender straps are connected with either a button tab or ribbon ties and has a zipper in the back.  You will learn to cut a circle skirt, hem the bottom, make a buttonhole, and attach a zipper.

Skills required:  Basic machine skills and ability to sew a straight line. 

This class will be taught in two sessions: 
     Session #1: Cutting pattern, ironing & sewing button tabs 
     Session #2: Sewing straps, Waistband, Zipper & Hemming Circle Skirt. 

Length of sessions: 2 hours

  • purchased pattern found here
  • zipper
  • button
  • 1x1" fusible interfacing

**Pre-Class Requirements: 

Please decide on the size you would like to make and cut out their paper pattern prior to class. Please let us know if you need help with this step prior to the class.

Purchase the necessary yardage to create the pinafore. Fabric should be 100% cotton and machine washed, dried, and ironed ahead of time.

 Materials purchased at homesewn for this project will receive a 15% discount.

 All class sales are final and non-refundable.  Class enrollment may be transferrable to another person, but not a different session or class.


**Classes have a minimum of 2 participants.  Participants will be notified via email 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time if there are not the required number of students.  Participants can either reschedule (if a future class is available), or receive a refund.  Please ensure you register with a valid email address.**
