Beginner Knitting 101

This intro to basic knitting class is for anyone who wants to learn how to knit with no background necessary. In this class you will learn how to cast on, the knit stitch, bind off, and seam following a pattern resulting in a headband. This class will leave you with the skills to create rectangular items such as scarves, dish clothes, kitchen towels, blankets, and pillow covers. This class is offered as a single 2-hour session. Materials are included with the option to choose the color of your yarn! 

Materials:

1 skein of Malabrigo Rasta or Big Wool

1 set of bamboo knitting needles size US 17

1 tapestry needle

This class is intended for 18+.  All class sales are final and non-refundable.  Class enrollment may be transferrable to another person, but not a different session or class.

**Classes have a minimum of 2 participants.  Participants will be notified via email 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time if there are not the required number of students.  Participants can either reschedule (if a future class is available), or receive a refund.  Please ensure you register with a valid email address.**
