Crochet Summer Sun Hat Class

Join us for a fun and relaxing crochet class where you’ll learn how to create your very own stylish and practical summer sun hat! In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll be guided step-by-step through the process of crocheting a beautiful sun hat that will keep you cool and fashionable all season long.

Audience: Beginners who are comfortable with both single and double crochet stitches

What You’ll Learn:

• Basic crochet stitches such as chain, slip stitch, single crochet, and double crochet
• How to read a simple crochet pattern
• Techniques for shaping the crown and brim of the hat
• how to do a magic ring and work in the round

Sessions: Two 1.5 hr sessions

Sizes and measurements:

• Small: Women Smaller Heads/Teen = 19.55" Hat Circumference (Fit 20-21" heads)
• Medium: Fit Most Women Heads = 21:33" Hat Circumference (Fit 21-22" heads)
• Large: Women Larger Heads = 23:11" Hat Circumference (Fit 22-23.5" heads)

Materials:  Pattern will be provided in class

• 100% paper rafia yarn - 230(245, 260) yards
• 3mm crochet hook
• Yarn needle
• Stitch marker
